GSV has become a household name in the ARA area for supplying professional surveyors,
superintendents and laboratory technicians on a subcontractor basis.
In order to keep up with increasing demand we are looking to expand our team with surveyors.

Liquid Cargo Surveyor

Role: As GSV liquid cargo surveyor you will carry out inspections as per the latest industry standards and QHSE requirements. You will mostly be deployed in name of the leading international inspection companies in the ARA area, and you will be working either in shifts or on an ad hoc basis.

  • ROTTERDAM
  • FULL TIME

Responsibilities:

  • Inspection of Crude Oil, Mineral Oil Products, Chemicals, Edible Oils
  • Measuring and sampling shore tanks, tanker barges and tanker vessels
  • Pre-inspection of cargo hoses
  • Additivation activities
  • Safety supervision during STS operations
 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as surveyor in Crude Oil and Mineral Oil Products
    Experience in Chemicals, Gas and/or Edible Oils is an advantage
  • Dutch or Belgian resident
  • Certified VCA and IFIA
  • Good social and technical communication skills in English and preferably also in Dutch
  • Able to closely follow up written instructions and work in a timely matter but still safe and
    accurate
  • Can cope with flexible hours and work schedule
